Christian Michael Hair Extensions was born during one of the most challenging yet inspiring times of my life. I was a single mom to my beautiful one-year-old son, Christian Michael, who quickly became not only my whole world but also the namesake of this company.
At the time, I was frustrated and exhausted. Clients were looking at me, not the companies, when extensions failed. I was losing trust, and every time I reached out to those brands, I felt brushed off. They didn't care about quality, ethics, or the stylists who relied on them.
That was my lightbulb moment.
I realized there wasn't a brand out there that was truly stylist-forward, one that cared about quality, ethical sourcing, and real education. I wanted to change that.
The Challenge: Building Something Better
Still, the road wasn't easy. It took me a year to find manufacturing that aligned with my values. Time and again, I was sent hair that seemed amazing at first, only to be disappointed later. I learned quickly how inconsistent and careless the industry could be.
But I didn't give up. My passion has always been solving problems and making life better for the people I care about. Building this company became about so much more than hair. It became about creating a movement where stylists are supported, clients are confident, and integrity comes first.
